The ski clubs of Andorra are a perfect way for children to learn how to ski and to discover the hidden gems of the Andorran slopes. Many people have a very stereotypical view of ski clubs being part of a gruelling process in order to become a professional skier like Linsday Vonn or Bode Miller. However, these fantastic schemes have much more to offer including the chance to find out what discipline is the most entertaining for your child, whether this may be snowboarding or skiing, racing or freeride, improving technique or having fun in the snow-park.
During the process of finding out what your child enjoys best, their weekend will be entertained making lifelong friends on the slopes. A typical day at ski club would begin with a 7am wake-up, a healthy but hearty breakfast at home before joining everyone at your given meeting point at 8am. Your child will then enjoy a journey up to the slopes full of laughter and jokes. By 9am, they will be geared up with their helmet, boots and skis, and off they go. For the first 2h30mins, your kids will be learning any skills that would be essential for their discipline (important for safety and continuous learning!). By this point, it will be time to fuel up again with a nice hot chocolate and a sandwich. The following 1h30mins are filled of fun and support where your child will be exposed to different aspects of skiing, all the while improving their techniques in their discipline. At 2pm, they will be waiting for you at the given meeting point ready for a big lunch and a fun afternoon in the sun or in the snow!
The ski clubs in Andorra are a perfect way of keeping your children active during their free time while doing a fun and beautiful sport.
